Data Recovery

Data recovery involves attampting to salvage the data which has been stored on various damaged media, such as hard drives, magnetic disks and so on. Whether your data was damaged by a virus, a disk crash, or something else (i.e., a natural disaster), there are many companies who specialize in data recovery.

The amount of data that can be recovered typically depends on the severity of damage in the first place. Although you may end up permenently losing some data, it is rare that data recovery specialists are unable to recover at least some (if not all) of your valuable data.

The most inexpensive alternative to hiring a data recovery professional is to back up your data on a regular basis. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of businesses and individuals make the effort to regularly do so.
